ASTRiiD announced as Recruiter's 2018 Charity of the Year
Last month, Recruiter began showcasing four shortlisted charities on recruiter.co.uk to be voted for the title of Recruiter’s Charity of the Year. They included ASTRiiD, Unseen, Only Connect and OPERA Global Youth Foundation. With an impressive 40% of the public vote, it was ASTRiiD – a not-for-profit organisation connecting businesses with professionals who have long-term health problems but who still have many skills to offer employers – that won out in the end. Since 2011, Recruiter has designated a charity to receive publicity and proceeds from fundraising activities at the annual Recruiter Awards in May and Investing in Talent Awards in the autumn.

Over the past 8 years, the Family Law Awards have firmly established themselves as a highly prestigious event, celebrating the success and achievements of family lawyers and the vital contribution that they make to society. The 2018 ceremony will take place on Wednesday 28 November.
This year’s charity partner will be the Coram Children’s Legal Centre. Part of the Coram group of charities, it promotes and protects the rights of children in the UK and internationally in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
