Tasker Insurance announces their first ever charity partnership

Tasker Insurance Group (TIG) recently announced their first ever charity partnership – with Mind, one the country’s leading mental health charities. According to Tasker Insurance, the charity partner was decided by staff members during Tasker Insurance Group’s conference. With 4 different sectors being presented to them: mental health, children and young people, elderly people and medical research. The mental health sector received the vast majority of votes, being 86% of all votes. So it was decided that Mind would be their charity partner for the next 12 months. “It was staggering to learn that one in four people suffer with mental health - in an organisation like ours with roughly 80 staff members that could result in 20 staff suffering with mental health problems. Mental health has really come to the fore in recent times, quite rightly gaining significant public support and meaning that it is losing its social stigma,” said TIG CEO Robert Organ. “[A]s an organisation, we will do everything we can to support our own staff while they undertake fun activities to raise money for Mind.” Karen Bolton, head of community and events fundraising for Mind, said Tasker Insurance Group’s support will help Mind’s vital services including the Mind infoline, information and advice services, and its campaign that the one in four of Brits who experience a mental health problem each year gets both support and respect.
