Network Telecom announces their charity of the year

Following years of weekly dress down days, Summer BBQs and Autumn Balls, organised for the charity by Network Telecom Executive PA Lesley Ellis, this year Network Telecom have launched a charitable committee – NT Together – to raise funds for Severn Hospice on an even bigger scale during 2019. Network Telecom will be holding fundraising events each month to raise money for the charity that requires £11.3 million each year to provide its fantastic services. Severn Hospice provides specialist care and support to local families living with incurable illnesses. The charity has two hospices, one based in Telford and the other in Shrewsbury. In addition to the two hospices, the charity care for four out of five people at home and provide day services as well. Network Telecom want to help Severn Hospice to reach and exceed their annual costs of £11.3 million. The charity needs to raise £2 for every £3 they spend on caring for local families so Network Telecom are looking forward to helping as much as they can. For every £1 that Network Telecom raise, 88p will go directly to caring for local families with the other 12p being used on further fundraising. With over 34,000 local people cared for since Severn Hospice began, Network Telecom are thrilled to be supporting such a fantastic charity. The first event Network Telecom will be holding is a Valentine’s Day bake sale in partnership with local bakery Planet Doughnut where Network Telecom employees are invited to ‘share the love’ and enjoy a variety of delicious Network Telecom branded doughnuts.
