McCarthy and Stone seeks local charities to support
The UK’s leading retirement housebuilder, McCarthy and Stone, has launched a search for a local charity to support in North Walsham, as its new Retirement Living development on New Road begins to take shape. The development of 49 Retirement Living apartments for the over 60’s was designed by the UK’s leading manager and developer of retirement communities, McCarthy and Stone, to help meet continued demand for those looking to downsize in and around the area. The development is proving popular with over 50% now sold, and with the first homeowners due to move in this summer, McCarthy and Stone is looking to pledge its support to a neighbourhood project, charity or one-off event within the North Walsham community. Local groups and charities are urged to get in touch as soon as possible by emailing requests to mccarthyandstone@mccann.com by Sunday 1 September 2019. Please mark your emails ‘North Walsham Community Appeal’ in the subject header. Samantha Watkins, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for McCarthy and Stone East Midlands, said “Our fundamental aim when creating a development is to support and integrate McCarthy and Stone and our future homeowners into the local community. Our developments are created with community in mind, and supporting local charities or neighbourhood projects allows us to create a positive legacy.”
Additionally, the same applies to McCarthy and Stone properties who are looking for charity partners in Sunderland & Cleckheaton.
