Kempston Rugby announces Magpas as charity partner

Kempston Rugby club recently announced that for the 2nd year running, Magpas Air Ambulance will be their charity partner for the 2019/20 season. Magpas Air Ambulance is a charity, which brings essential lifesaving care by land and air to patients in life-threatening emergencies in the East of England and beyond. Entirely self-sufficient with no state funding, Magpas Air Ambulance relies on generous public donations to continue saving lives. To celebrate the partnership, Kempston Rugby, have entered participants into the Bedford Running Festival. Magpas Air Ambulance are also one of the charities supporting Bedford Running Festival. Alex Redford, Chair of Kempston Rugby said: “It’s a pleasure to work with Magpas again this year. It’s a fantastic service and the 10k is the first of a few fund raising activities we hope to take part in this year. “We are also looking to have the Magpas logo on our club playing shirts too, so we can help spread the word around the league.”
