DeVere Europe backs Rainbow Trust in new charity alliance
deVere Europe, part of one of the world’s largest independent financial services and advisory organisations, has named Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity as its charitable partner. The Europe division of the global financial giant will work directly with the national UK charity that currently supports more than 2,500 families with a seriously ill child. James Green, divisional manager of deVere Europe, comments: “As a father myself, I cannot imagine the distress, heartbreak and turmoil families experience when a child becomes seriously ill, meaning time becomes more treasured than ever before. “The consequences of the situation can ripple throughout the family. And this is where the incredible, life-enhancing work of Rainbow Trust comes in.” Rainbow Trust helps by pairing each family with a specialist Family Support Worker who helps give them time. They give time for a parent to have a desperately needed break, they make time for the brothers and sisters to help them feel less frightened and isolated and they give time to parents to do the things they used to love, before family life was turned upside down. Every hour of Rainbow Trust’s support helps families to cope.
