Greystar's annual charity gala raises £150k for KIDS

Greystar, a global leader in the investment, development and management of high-quality real estate across the living sector, raised more than £150,000 for partner charity Kids at their annual charity gala at the Natural History Museum.

The black-tie gala dinner on 25th September, sponsored by Eastdil Secured, was attended by 500 professionals across the Property industry, with ticket sales, the auction, and a raffle raising money for much-needed services and support for children with disabilities.

Established over 50 years ago, Kids provides essential services to children with disabilities and their families, empowering young people to develop their skills and achieve their goals.

The event included circus-themed performances including acrobats and dancers on roller-skates, as well as music from a saxophonist and performances from Aston Band. The event was designed and produced by Bespoke London with catering by Caper & Berry, and floral displays provided by Pinstripes & Peonies.

Harry Downes, Managing Director – Investment, UK, Greystar, said: “I want to thank everyone who attended and contributed to a wonderful evening at our third annual charity gala. It wouldn’t have been possible without those who bought tickets, entered the raffle, bid on prizes, and all the incredible team members, partners and vendors who made it happen. A special thank you to our headline sponsor Eastdil and silver sponsor Smarter Services.

“Most importantly, I want to show my gratitude to Kids, whose work is truly life-changing for so many.”

Katie Ghose, CEO, Kids, said: “We are very grateful to Greystar for another year working in partnership and another wonderful evening in support of Kids at the Natural History Museum. Greystar’s Cirque Noir was a very special event filled with great company, incredible generosity and fantastic entertainment. Families with a disabled child continue to experience significant day-to-day challenges, often struggling to get the services they desperately need. What keeps us going is the sheer joy, hope, resourcefulness and resilience of those that we support and the partners we work with, like Greystar, to help make a difference. We cannot thank everyone who contributed enough for being part of this journey to help us make a world where all kinds of kids have all kinds of opportunities.”
